About Us

Family Owned and operated for over 25 years.

Technical Engineering, LLC is a family owned and operated company. Majed Noujaim, a first-generation immigrant to the U.S. in the late 1980’s, established Technical Engineering, LLC in the spring of 1998 after completing a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford. The company's humble start began when Majed purchased a Bridgeport milling machine with an Anilam 3-axis control and started procuring work from anyone and everyone that needed machining support.

In the ensuing few years, the shop grew from one machine to eight and Majed built a reputation of providing high quality tools and parts to the thermal spray shops that were close by. Designing and manufacturing thermal spray equipment under its own patent further placed Technical Engineering on the map as a quality thermal spray gun parts and tooling supplier.

In 2012 Majed's son Mark, a former Pratt & Whitney Process Engineer, joined the company and with him, brought new ideas, upgraded technologies and the ambition to grow. The father & son duo began to pursue the ground turbine & aerospace industries shortly thereafter. Since then, they have provided both OEM and repair components to power generation and aerospace companies worldwide.

Technical Engineering, now having been in business 25 years, has grown to a 12,500 sqft facility, 14 CNC Machines, 7 employees, 3 CMMs and ISO9001/AS9100D QMS Certification. Our company culture has a robust dedication to continuous improvement, attention to detail, and most importantly providing the highest quality parts and service to our customers.
